NOTE: this is really for 1.5 charatcers as you can't really get a good picture of Glitch without rambling AT LENGTH about Ambrose. When possible a simple answer will cover both of them buuuut sometimes it's just not gonna happen. Also yay wow loads of fanon ahoy.

I have app'd Glitch to taxonomites and...he is IN! :D I am likely to still be poking around charloft and the wider internet with him, but for all intents and purposes he's been kidnapped by aliens.

Explaining OOCly because, erm, Glitch doesn't always know (or isn't always aware of) who he really is. For the honne and tatemae prompt.

Glitch's tatemae is the outgoing, optimistic, somewhat childish personality he adopted to survive after his brain was removed. He is fussy, fidgety, friendly but still cautious in the face of the unknown. He has a self-deprecating sense of humor, finding it easier to laugh at his memory lapses and other quirks than to dwell on it.

His honne is, in a nutshell, Ambrose: the man he was before he was headcased. He is a genius, an aristocrat and inventor, one of the most important people in his world. Well aware of these facts he is a touch arrogant and hates being underestimated. However he is also extremely loyal and would do anything to protect those he loves, including sacrifice himself.

The split between "Glitch" and "Ambrose" is unusual, as it is a psychological manifestation of a physical trauma. The two aspects can be very similar, in that Glitch will sometimes behave like Ambrose and Ambrose showed signs of who he'd be as Glitch. The memory loss keeps Glitch's true nature hidden, to the point where he doesn't even know his own name, but he does know what he's lost and is desperate to reclaim that part of himself. The gulf is not wide, but crossing it is close to impossible.
